What to Expect While Skydiving in Sydney
When you arrive for tandem skydiving in Sydney at the center, you will be introduced to the team. Before they take you for the skydiving session, you’ll go through a fitness evaluation test and sign all the required paperwork.
Your team will then take you through a training program that will also include all the necessary safety protocols to follow, and will answer any questions you might have.
Then you will be fitted into your gear and the instructors will lead you to the specially equipped plane. You will be tethered to your tandem jumpmaster when you ascend to 15,000 feet. The jumpmaster will manage and re-check the technical aspects of the jump, such as checking the harnesses to ensure that you have a stable jump.
Once all is in place, gather your courage and jump out the door, freefalling at a speed of about 200 kilometers per hour with your tandem skydiving instructor. They will deploy the parachute after a minute or so, which will gradually slow your fall and allow you to float through the sky for 5-7 minutes.
