Excellent tour and dinner with a most helpful staff responsible for the activities. Only one constructive bit of feedback: acoustics in the concert hall were not so good, and the orchestra played over the vocalists. We sat about 10 rows back from the stage.

The opportunity to see the palace roons without the crowds was worthwhile. The meal was good and reprerensitive of the region. The perfornance was a collwction of popular classics well played and presented.

Die Audioguideführung durch das Schloss war zu wenig informativ, zu gehetzt, zu kurz -sehr schade. Die Möglichkeit nach dem Konzert noch durch das Schloss zu gehen in eigenem Tempo -wie in der Beschreibung erwähnt- gabs gar nicht. Das Menü war einfacher gehalten als erwartet, die Bedienung allerdings top. Beim Einlass in den Konzertsaal wurde uns gesagt es sei Pflicht Handtasche (!) und Jacke abzugeben aus Platzgründen- obwohl wir früh dort waren haben wir dadurch schlechtere Plätze bekommen, da viele der Gäste sich nicht daran hielten und uns so überholten in der Warteschlange. Trotz A-Kategorie sassen wir in der 6. Reihe und nicht wie in der Beschreibung in Reihe 2-3. Das Konzert war sehr schön und unterhaltsam- daher und da Service im Restaurant top war doch 3 und nicht nur 1 Stern. Preis-Leistung stimmt einfach nicht.

What to bring

Bring your voucher or digital ticket and a valid photo ID to the Orangery entrance. Ticket collection is mandatory and strictly checked.

Pack a light jacket or shawl, as the indoor venue can feel cool even in summer evenings.

Carry a small amount of cash if you are not a VIP ticket holder, because the cloakroom fee for non-VIP guests is €1.

What’s not allowed

Photography or video recording of the performance is strictly prohibited.

Outside food or drinks are not permitted inside the concert venue; refreshments are available in the concert bar.

While there is no strict dress code enforcement, sportswear, trainers, and overly casual attire are discouraged. Opt for smart casual or semi-formal attire.

The Orangery Schönbrunn offers full wheelchair accessibility, including ramps, barrier-free facilities, and accessible toilets.

Additional information

Collect your tickets from 10am to 5:15pm at the reservation office of the Orangery Schönbrunn.

Arrive by 5:15pm at the main entrance of Schönbrunn Palace to check in and join the group for the dinner and concert experience.

The concert normally begins at 8:30pm and lasts approximately 105 minutes, including an intermission.

On selected dates, the concert may take place in the Great Gallery or the White-Gold Room directly in the Palace (or in the Palace Theatre).

Dinner is served at one of the chosen restaurants, Restaurant Gerstner Schönbrunn (on the palace grounds) or Restaurant Tafelspitz.

Book your tickets at least 2 to 3 weeks in advance, especially for the busy months of May to September and in December, since concerts often sell out.

During intermission, stop by the bar for refreshments or stroll through the Orangery Garden when open in warmer months.

Parking is available directly in front of the Orangery until midnight for an additional fee.

Cloakroom service is free for VIP ticket holders; all other guests pay €1.
