Buckingham Palace was one of the highlights of my trip to London. The State Rooms were absolutely beautiful, and I especially loved the Throne Room and the Ballroom. The paintings, furniture, and decorations were elegant and impressive. It was also very interesting to see where so many important royal events take place. I’m very happy I had the chance to visit and would definitely recommend it.

I loved everything I know that sounds like a cop out But as a royalist I Buckingham Palace was my last royal resident to visit. Tick. I was emotional. It was an honor. I cannot say enough to express how amazing it was. Thank you.

The tour was pleasant and well organized. The ques were not long and very efficiently managed. We felt we saw a lot and enjoyed the tour. The audio was informative and helpful. Well worth the price of the ticket.

Buckingham Palace was great. The audio guide was wonderful. The self audio guide you can take your time without being hurried. The cafeteria is a great place to have tea and scones.

Enjoy walking through the State Rooms as you witness numerous masterpieces by legendary painters like Rembrandt, Canaletto, and Rubens.

Admire the antique French and English furniture scattered throughout the palace in the Green Drawing Room and the Ballroom.

Although it was unbearably hot to navigate the walk and all the stairs the magic and opulence made it worthwhile. It inspires a sense of patriotism and pride that we as Brits are able to share the history and elegance of a renound worldwide building. And, enjoying "tea at Buckingham Palace ".

The tour was excellent. However, it was absolute chaos queuing to get in. Why arrange it so that everyone for a particular time slot goes in together? Why not have a steady flow of people, which would stop the staff having to shout at people/guests because they are standing on a walkway? We all felt like cattle being herded. This needs to be sorted out to show some sort of efficiency and control! Is that the way the British want to be shown?

I was too excited to see the Palace. İmagining the Royal Family have lived there many years. The memories of the Queen and the entire Royal Family in the Palace, the Collection of art pieces and footsteps of little ones running around and music was also very meaningful where the babies have been babtised. Changing the Guard tour: Add a small-group tour to your experience and witness the famous Changing the Guard ceremony. Depending on your day of visit, see either the Foot Guards or the Horse Guards performing the traditional handover ritual in a 45-min display of military precision and pageantry.

Westminster walking tour: Choose to begin your experience with a guided walking tour of the Westminster area led by a knowledgeable English-speaking guide. Pass landmarks like St. James’s Palace, wander St. James’s Park (once home to a royal zoo), and stroll along The Mall, the ceremonial road leading up to Buckingham Palace.

What's not allowed

For safety reasons, pushchairs are not permitted in the State Rooms. They must be checked in and reclaimed at the exit. Baby carriers are available for loan.

A one-way system operates along the entire visitor route, so be sure to check out the attractions thoroughly as you won’t be allowed to revisit them.

This tour is not meant for individuals with impaired movement.

The Changing of the Foot Guards ceremony at Buckingham Palace takes place on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday (subject to availability). On Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, there is no Foot Guards ceremony—instead, you'll explore Westminster on a guided walking tour. The Horse Guards may be on parade, but it's not always guaranteed.
