Great place to visit. Easy walkabout. Some exhibits such as Butterfly and bird aviary, you are mingling with the wildlife roaming freely about the enclosures. Hop on and off bus a great feature. Very good restaurants which cater for many cultures, with great quality food....best green salad I have had for a long time. there is even a Kentucky Fried Chicken and MacDonalds onsite. The gift shop has many affordable mementos and the profits help the zoo and wildlife foundations.

The staff at Mandai Wildlife were friendly and helpful. The attractions were well maintained and presentation was excellent. I would plan the day. There is SO much to see and do at each attraction that trying to do them in a day is not possible. I'd do two attractions a day and spend quality time in each. Take a hat, fan and a pinch as the weather changes constantly. Don't forget a comfortable pair of shoes.

We had taken 6 park 5 day pass which was available at Headout only, which saved us around 4000-5000 Indian Rupees and gave us flexibility to explore all the 6 mandai parks at our own pace..the entry was also flawless at all the entry point with the tickets provided by the Headout, only at the exploria they gave us manual tickets after scanning Headout vouchers...highly rocommended

Beautiful leafy zoo that makes you feel like you're in a jungle. Well maintained exhibits for lots of amazing animals. Lots of walking trails, but you can also take the tram if you want to rest your feet. Had a nice lunch at the restaurant too. All up, it was a great day out!

Singapore Zoo is the best zoo I've ever been to, not only for the animals but for the huge trees. There are animals we don't get to see at others, like chimpanzee and the Baboon enclosure make you feel like your in the Rift Valley. It is a large zoo so the tram service is appreciated. I thoughly enjoyed the day.

Enter Singapore Zoo with your ticket and hop on the complimentary tram for easy travel across the park. The recorded commentary shares fun animal facts and stories as you ride between zones.

What to expect

11 zones to explore: Wander through Wild Africa, Australasia, Fragile Forest, the Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia, Primate Kingdom, Treetops Trail, Reptile Kingdom, KidzWorld, RepTopia, Tortoise Shell-ter, and Orangutan Island & Boardwalk.

Important note

Booking your preferred entry date for the Singapore Zoo admission ticket is mandatory. Please follow the instructions on the booking voucher to reserve your preferred date.

What to bring

Light clothes, comfy shoes, sunscreen, cap, mosquito repellent, and a poncho or umbrella.

Bring a reusable water bottle – refill stations are available.

Arrive early on weekdays or visit in the late afternoon.

Arrive 10–15 mins early: Seats fill up fast, especially for Splash Safari. Grab a good spot without the rush.

What's not allowed

There are prohibited areas in the zoo. Do not venture into these zones for your own safety.

Do not feed or tease the animals living in the zoo.

Stay seated the whole duration of the tram ride.

Feel free to take photos for personal use. Flash photography is not allowed.

Smoking is not allowed inside the zoo. You will find a designated smoking point outside the entrance.

Pets and plants are not allowed inside.

Skate scooters, inline skates, rollerblades, tricycles and pull trolleys are not permitted inside.

Turn off flash photography for animals’ comfort.

Accessibility

Ticketing machines (TM), nursing & diaper changing rooms, lost and found, free wifi, stoller, wheelchair access, lockers, prayer rooms, rain gears, first-aid stations, luggage storage are available at the venue.
