A celebration of green, sustainable technology, Floriade Expo 2022 presents how cities can be more fun, beautiful, and sustainable through a stunning display of flowers, plants, and vegetables. Incredible scents and vivid colors will be your steadfast companions as you discover green solutions from innovators all around the globe.

The seventh edition of the Expo brings the theme of ‘Growing Green Cities’, with the aim to inspire guests to live greener, healthier lives. The underlying sub-themes cover more greenery, improved food supplies, more conscious living, and smarter energy supplies.

Before we take you through Floriade Park, let us take you over it. A comfortable, modern bus will take you from Amsterdam straight to Floriade Cable Car, with skip-the-line entry taking you past the waiting queue. There is plenty to see that will help you orient yourself for the visit as you glide over the 60 hectares of the park. But, that's not all. With a green mobility solution that facilitates low electrical energy consumption and takes up minimal space, this is more than just a cable car ride - it is a ride to the future.

After your flight, it's time to really explore the park. There is much to discover with over 400 participants showing off their latest green solutions and innovations. With art, live music and delectable food, this visit will be a treat to your senses. Check out the country pavilions, where you can experience the culture, flowers and plants, and local innovations of over 40 countries. The national pavilions feature exhibits and experiences that shed light on astounding innovations and architecture of future cities. Attractions not be missed include:

Bobbing Forest

Consisting of 20 recycled sea bouys from the North Sea and filled with 20 Dutch aim, this artwork is a gift from art producer Mothership to Floriade. It highlights the significance of climate adaptation, innovation, health, and greenery.

Save Plastics

Ever seen a house built from recycled plastic waste? Here's your chance. See Tiny House, made from from 7.400 kilos of waste. With this exhibit, Save Plastics emphasizes how waste can prove to be a valuable raw material.

Wolunie

A colorful treat for the eyes awaits at the pavilion Shades of Nature. It shows how dyeing wool, a process that requires energy, can also be done with energy that is already present - the Sun.

If you are an artisitc soul, you cannot miss this place. A mesmerizing fusion of art, architecture, and nature, the Art Pavilion Flevoland appeals to all senses.

Metro i.p.v. trein, trains Eurostar, IC, IC141, IC143, and more will bring you to Amsterdam Centraal. From there, it is a 3-min walk to the meeting point.

Alternatively, you can take subway services 51, 52, 53, and 54 to Central Station. From there, it is a 4-min walk to the meeting point.
