The staff lacked enthusiasm. All they had to offer as a welcome drink was water or a warm alcoholic beverage. Too bad for those who don't drink alcohol or for the children. No explanation is given during the tour (what we’ll see, how long we’ll stay to watch the sunset, etc.) Basically, you get on a boat; when it stops, you get a drink; and then, whenever they decide—without warning—you set off again. Don’t expect anything more than a simple ride. The woman at the reception desk is nonchalant, and the young guys on the boat (there are two of them) barely listen to the customers and don’t respond when you say goodbye in English (they do in Croatian, though!). On the other hand, we were lucky enough to spot two dolphins, and they pointed them out to us!!

From the moment you leave the Split Port, you will start to cruise at the best angle to discover Split Old Town from the seaside. With a welcome drink in hand, you will then cruise your way towards the charming Marjan Park Forest, a hill on the peninsula of Split with dense pine forests, surrounded by the city and the sea.

As you navigate the surrounding area, you will come close to Čiovo Island just as the Dalmatian sun is starting to set which will create the perfect summer evening. It is at this very moment that you will experience "Pomalo", as the locals call it. Finally, as you make your way back to the port, the timing could not get better for this is when you will get to see Split from the seaside at its best.
