The management of the reservation was extremely poor. For the vague pickup instructions, the confusion about the departure time, the discovery that the return trip from the port to Thira wasn’t included (????), and the stress that caused, I would have given it a 1. For the cruise, I give it a 5 because it was perfect, from start to finish. The boat is a comfortable size, with areas where you can sit in the sun or shade. There’s a stop at Nea Kameni with a visit to the craters (1.5 hours), followed by a dip in the hot sulfur springs (30 minutes), a long stop in Thirassia for lunch (2 hours), and the return trip with a detour through Oia and along the entire coast, cruising leisurely, all the way to the port of Athinios. Attentive and thoughtful staff. Interesting commentary. A truly wonderful day!
