The tour is entirely by car. You’ll see some incredible waterfalls. You’ll drive through the fjords, but the car won’t stop so you can’t really take them in or snap a photo. The apple pie was delicious. However, this is an experience best suited for older adults, since most of the time is spent in the car.

If you’re even a little into landscapes, this tour is a DREAM. I went solo, joined a group of folks from all over. The guide (can’t remember her name, sorry!) was a riot and gave us so many odd facts about apples in Norway—who knew? The bus itself was comfy, and I def recommend nabbing a window seat if you can. We stopped at this lil apple farm, and the juice was crazy FRESH. The pie? Like, wow, I ate two slices, oops. Only thing—wish we could spend more time at the last waterfall, felt a bit rushed there. Weather was pure Norway gloom, but honestly, it made the fjords look extra mystical. Pro tip: bring a raincoat, not just an umbrella (wind was wild!).

Went with my boyfriend for our anniversary. The views over the fjord are STUNNING (take a real camera, your phone won’t do it justice). Guide was sweet, gave us a ton of stories about local life. The apple farm stop is cute but gets crowded quick—felt like everyone was hovering for pie. The bus was a bit stuffy but not a dealbreaker. Would have loved more time off the bus, but we still left happy.

This tour was the highlight of my whole Norway trip. I went with my parents (dad is obsessed with apples so he was in heaven). The farm was cozy, we chatted with the owner and he let us try cider (strong stuff!). Waterfalls were roaring from all the recent rain—bring earplugs if you’re sensitive. Also, shoutout to the driver for handling those twisty roads like a pro.
