The trip was great, the fjord and landscape beautiful. The 'ticketing experience' was awful. It's telling that companies insist on customers giving their email addresses and phone numbers so that they can bombard us with requests for reviews and marketing messages. But when our 9.00am trip was cancelled, no attempt was made to inform us by email or text. We were just brusquely informed at 8.40 on arrival at the quayside that we would have to rebook for 10.30 or 14.00 or could have a refund. No apology. Not good enough.

Fabulous scenery. The confirmation of booking could have given more information on precisely where to meet and the name of the boat/operator was not clear. Different time cruises leave from different places - confusing. Everyone else had the same issue so it wasn't just me. That said great tour and friendly staff.

It was a beautiful shorter tour of the fjords from a more accessible location. We did a full day tour as well on our trip, but if you're short on time, this tour gives you close to the same experience for a fraction of the time and cost. You won't be disappointed!

Ticketing=fine. Wish the cabin had not been so terribly hot. Very little outdoor seating so we stood the entire 4hours. Scenery was gorgeous, however.

Getting started

Board your catamaran from central locations of Bergen. Arrive at least 15 minutes early for a smooth check-in.

What to expect

Set sail from Bergen’s harbor and glide through the calm waters of the Osterfjord. The journey begins with views of the Bryggen Wharf and Mount Fløyen in the background.

Explore towering cliffs, deep blue waters, and mountains. You’ll navigate the narrow Mostraumen passage, a highlight of the trip, where you come close to the misty waterfalls. Look out for sea eagles and other local wildlife.

Wrapping up

After approximately 3 hours on the water, return to Bergen’s harbor and enjoy the rest of your day in the city.
