The trip into London was fast, trains were clean and comfortable, and the entire experience was terrific. Our family of 5 had an 8 hour layover in London, on our way to Florence, and the efficient manner of the Express allowed us time to see Abbey Road studios, recreate the iconic image for our own photo of myself and our 3 boys crossing Abbey Road, had lunch (and a Guinness or two), came across a festival along the canals, and visited The British Museum. We were back at Heathrow in plenty of time for our evening flight to Florence. It was perfect!

Everything went smoothly with the trains and the hop on hop off. We particularly enjoyed the riverboat trip on the Thames. The crew member that gave the highlights along the tour was informative and entertaining. A special highlight on the hop on hop off was getting to see the horses as part of VE Day celebrations.

The transport is very fast, clean and comfortable. We were able to connect to wifi and charge our mobile phones. The reduction is needed. The probem was the tickets. I ordered them from Paddington to Heathrow but somehow it ended other way around. Fortunatelly the staff was understanding and let us go.
