Getting started

Scan your entry ticket for 1 park visit at the Sesame Place San Diego entrance and proceed directly inside. Depending on the option you choose, you either use the ticket on any operating day within 6 months from purchase or only on the selected date. Children under 3 do not pay, so you only need tickets for guests aged 3 and above.

Sesame Place San Diego

Sesame Place San Diego is a theme and water park where you can combine classic rides, character fun, and seasonal water play in one visit. You decide how long to stay inside the park and which areas to explore first, using the Sesame Place app if you wish for maps and show schedules.

Features

All rides included: Rides and dry attractions are included for your visit, so you can enjoy all rides throughout the park as part of your entry. The ticket gives you access to dry attractions for the entire day, whether you stay for a few hours or from opening to closing time.

Seasonal water slides: Water attractions, including all slides and all pools, are part of your access to wet and dry attractions, with operation that is seasonal and weather permitting. You can move between water play and dry areas as often as you like during your park visit.

Live shows and more: Shows and parades are included, so you can attend all shows and all parades scheduled that day without extra admission charges. You can check the Sesame Place app for updated show times and parade routes while you are in the park.

Your ticket validity works in two ways, depending on your choice: the Flexible-Date 1-Visit Ticket lets you use your ticket on any operating day within 6 months from the purchase date, while the Dated 1-Visit Ticket is valid only on the selected date.

Additional information

Children aged 35 months and under receive free admission and do not need a ticket.

Guests aged 3 years and above must have a valid admission ticket or Season Pass to enter the park.

Your admission includes access to the full park experience, covering both dry rides and seasonal water attractions.

Water rides and attractions operate on a seasonal basis and may be affected by weather conditions.

All tickets and Season Passes are non-refundable, non-transferable, revocable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
