My family of 5 had an absolutely amazing experience at the San Diego Zoo on March 16, 2026! From the moment we walked in, everything was organized, clean, and family-friendly. The staff members were welcoming, helpful, and clearly passionate about the animals and guest experience. The variety of animals was incredible, and every exhibit was beautifully maintained. Our family especially loved seeing the elephants, polar bears, gorillas, and pandas. The zoo is massive, but the layout, guided bus tour, and transportation options made it easy and enjoyable to explore throughout the day. There were plenty of food options, clean restrooms, shaded areas, and activities for kids, which made the visit comfortable for everyone in our family. You can really tell how much care goes into both the animals’ habitats and the overall guest experience. This was more than just a zoo visit — it became a fun family memory we’ll always remember. We highly recommend the San Diego Zoo to anyone visiting Southern California. Definitely worth every minute and we can’t wait to come back again!

The safari park is quite expansive. The animal enclosures are vast and made to resemble their home the wildlife. I can honestly say that I never felt a moment of sadness for the animals, as their homes at the safari park were well taken cared of and were the largest by far. The park is huge, and be prepared for a lot of walking. Restrooms areas are frequent, which is great when having little ones. Tons of food options with spectacular views. Parking is $20, and the park is open everyday from 9am - 5pm. We went on a Mother's Day and it was quite busy by the time we left around early afternoon. Oh yes, do the tram first when you get inside the park. Line was a 75 minutes wait when we decided to go on it.

Everything was clean and professionally done with a long term view. Food mediocre and tended towards fast junk. Few healthy options or accommodations for allergies.

I recently visited the San Diego Safari, and I must say, it was an incredible experience! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained the entire area was. The safari offered a diverse range of animals, and I loved every moment spent observing them. Each exhibit was thoughtfully designed, allowing for close-up views while ensuring the animals were comfortable in their habitats. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I last enjoyed having the map on the app to guide me through. I highly recommend the San Diego Safari to anyone looking for a fun, clean, and engaging experience with animals. It truly made for a memorable day!

It was an easy process on getting tickets and I like that I can get different packages for different parks or activities in other cities. I took my girlfriend to San Diego safari zoo for the first time and we had an awesome day. We stood at the elephant enclosure for some time and it was there feeding time so we got there just in time to see the elephants active and they had plenty of space to move around and play..

The best day ever! Highly recommend! First timer and would go back in a minute. Going in May was perfect, cooler temperatures and less people. The volunteers were incredibly helpful and the app helped tour the park.
