Out of necessity, we opted for a guided tour in a small group, since all the other tickets were sold out. As a result, the price was a bit higher than the prices on the official website. To be honest, we didn’t have high expectations for this tour—we were biased and therefore tended to think we hadn’t made a good choice. But we absolutely wanted to see the Sagrada Familia from the inside... When we arrived at the meeting point—near a large souvenir shop—we met our guide, Javier. He was a true Barcelonian through and through, and we could tell that right away from the passion he displayed. He guided us around in a very clear and easy-to-understand way, providing beautiful and detailed explanations at every turn. We were impressed by this guide’s knowledge, and the way he conducted the tour was perfect. Once again, our thanks to Javier!

Guide was very groovy, included the group in off the cuff fun questions. Small group which we loved, he really could have said nothing and the experience would still have been amazing. Historical information was very good 9am time of the tour was great, length of the tour was good too just over an hour. Thanks again I Liane and Al (Adelaide)

Since I was way too late to reserve a ticket for the Sagrada Familia, I was grateful that I was still able to join this guided tour in English. Luckily, it wasn’t quite as busy early in the morning. Our guide, Christel, was punctual, very friendly, and spoke English clearly enough for me to understand. She explained everything in advance, always made sure the group stayed together, and that no one got lost in the hustle and bustle that set in later. The tour was very informative; I learned a lot, and Christel also had recommendations for what to see on your own in the church after the tour. I thought Christel’s bag with her name on it was brilliant—such a great idea! That way, you don’t have to ask again if you happen to forget her name. So the tour was absolutely worth it for me and definitely worth recommending! I’d do the tour again in a heartbeat—but only with Christel!
