Unfortunately, we spent only five days in Edinburgh, but the Royals' summer residence is truly unforgettable. The rooms—intimate in size yet exquisitely furnished down to the last detail—create a genuinely welcoming, home-like atmosphere. It is easy to imagine oneself as a lucky guest at the parties held there, or to relive the tragic moments in the Princess's chambers with a genuine sense of distress—especially upon seeing the bloodstain left by Rizzio, still visible on the beautiful wooden floor of the meeting room. Creaking floors and oak-paneled walls that carry the scent of history—unforgettable! The grandeur of the gardens shown in the photos and the splendid Rolls-Royce—royal in the true sense of the word.AAlison D
CoupleVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5The yacht experience was brilliant, very well set out, great audio commentary, halfway through there's an opportunity to have afternoon tea, no booking required, we were able to just walk in., very reasonably priced too. Was a bit confused about how to get there with the combined sightseeing bus as was told that the only bus that takes you to the yacht was a different company (blue bus) and ours was the red sightseeing bus, however they took us and wasn't until we got back on the bus to get back to the city we were told we weren't on the correct bus, so that was confusing as it's the only bus company that goes that way. The bus driver did however let us in as it wasn't busy! So just be careful when purchasing the combo ticket, you might not be able to get there.MMrs A Y

The audio headsets were brilliant at describing the rooms and giving background information on the royal visits to the ship. It was lovely to see around the ship and I could well imagine why our late Queen loved her time spent on board. and how devastated she must have felt to lose her.
