Skip-the-Line Tickets to the Royal Palace of Madrid and the Royal Kitchen

Skip-the-line with guaranteed entry times, so we don't have to wait. All tickets were sold out (in April) for the next day as well as the following three days when we could go, and the Headout website was the only one offering time slots. We were skeptical because we were surprised that no one else was offering availability and the official site was sold out, but we didn’t regret it and we’ll definitely use Headout again. When you enter the palace courtyard after the entrance, you head to a station where you must place your backpack (which is quite large) in a free locker secured by a code you choose. We started with a guided tour of the kitchen, followed by a self-guided tour of the museum. The whole experience took us about 3 hours, including the guided tour of the kitchen, the museum, and the armory. The guide picked us up at the meeting point indicated by the staff at the entrance, and he even made an effort to speak a little French, even though the tour was scheduled to be in Spanish only. The entire Royal Palace is worth the visit; every room is magnificent thanks to its decorations, paintings, and furnishings, and the armory is splendid because everything is beautifully displayed. In short, it’s definitely worth the trip!!!

We loved the palace but if it wasn't for two very helpful and understanding staff members at the Palace ticket office then we would not have been allowed in. The email from Headout with the tickets is not enough. I was unable to download the Headout app as my phone is not the newest and the palace would not accept just an email, they needed the digital tickets ad Headout is a third party. Having read other reviews this clearly is not the first time this has happened; this is very poor from Headout and they need to ensure digital tickets are shared other than having to download the app particularly if customers are unable to get the app!!! Very poor customer service as this is not a new problem!

The Royal Palace of Madrid is absolutely stunning and a must-visit in Madrid. The architecture and interiors are breathtaking, with beautifully decorated rooms that showcase the richness of Spanish history. Everything is very well maintained and organized, easy to move around. It’s definitely worth it for the experience. Highly recommended

The staff was incredibly kind; even though we had booked the wrong time slot, they let us take the tour early so we wouldn’t miss our return flight. The guide who took us on the tour of the kitchens was the best!!!

Easy to get to. The guided tour of the kitchen was very interesting, and the guide was very friendly. The tour of the palace was nice too, but we weren't able to go into the armory.

I found this experience at the last minute after it had sold out on the official website. The activity went according to plan; I was completely satisfied.
