I entered the Royal Palace of Madrid without big expectations and was left speechless. The grandeur of the halls, the frescoes, the tapestries, and the porcelain really make you feel part of the history of Spain. Every room is meticulously detailed, from the armor to the Royal Chapel, all the way to the breathtaking view of the Sabatini Gardens. Very friendly staff and perfect organization, despite the queue. I recommend going early in the morning and getting the audio guide. It was an exciting experience that I would do again tomorrow. It's worth every euro of the ticket price. If you come to Madrid you can't miss it, it is the beating heart of the city, a plunge into the past that I recommend to everyone, including families, truly and absolutely unforgettable.

Regarding the palace, it is sumptuously beautiful, grand in size, and rich in detail. I only docked one star because I didn't have access to the private apartments and because of the rudeness of one of the staff members who refused to give me information because I hadn't bought the tickets directly from their ticket office (since tickets were sold out, and I paid a lot more, by the way). It is absolutely worth it! A must-visit for anyone coming to Madrid.

I didn't like the Headout app, it's not the direct website and the audio guide didn't work. I would have preferred buying it from the original application. The Headout app for the audio guide didn't work, so I didn't appreciate that and rate it 3/5, but the visit to the Palace is a 5. Headout experience: 2-3.

An incredible experience. The Royal Palace is stunning, and the guided tour of the Royal Kitchen was one of my favorite parts because it lets you discover a little-known side of history. The guide made the tour very enjoyable, and we learned so many interesting facts. One tip: arrive early. The time shown on the app is for the start of the guided tour of the Royal Kitchen, not for entering the Palace. It’s important to arrive a few minutes early so that, when the time comes, you’re already inside and ready to begin the tour. I highly recommend it if you’re visiting Madrid!

A great experience—the skip-the-line tickets were super convenient. Plus, since we hadn’t realized we were supposed to start with the guided tour of the kitchens, they let us do that at the end of the Royal Palace tour. I definitely recommend it.

Superb visit, very well-preserved site. The tour of the kitchens is a plus for those interested in history. I recommend it!

Begin your tour with a stroll through the Plaza de la Ameria. Besides catching incredible views of the surrounding countryside, you can also appreciate the Baroque architecture of the palace from the courtyard. Information points are located in various rooms inside the palace to help visitors better understand the exhibits. If you are an art-lover, you will find a plethora of famous works by artists such as Francisco de Goya and Caravaggio. Art exhibitions are also often held inside the palace.

Learn more about all the major attractions in the palace, from a Spanish-speaking guide, such as the Hall of Columns, where Spain signed the agreement to enter the European Union. The Royal Armoury and the Grand Staircase are also fascinating sights. The 2000-square meter Royal Kitchen houses a wealth of preparation rooms and cooking equipment that are over 200 years old.
