Tokyo Suica IC Card: Public Transport

Important Information

• The area of usage of Suica IC Card is not only limited to JR East and public transportation in Kanto region but also can use any available public transportation across the country except Shinkansen/ Green Car

• The card expires if unused for 10 years.

• Please Note: This offer is NOT available for Japanese passport holders.

• Children aged 0-5 can travel free of charge

• Children aged 6-11 can either purchase adult cards or buy child SUICA IC Cards (available at major JR East ticket counters)

• The card has a pre-loaded value with JPY1,500. You can top-up at any railway, metro and bus stations.

• To top-up your Suica IC Card, visit any Automatic Ticket Vending Machine and Fare Adjustment Machine with a Suica logo. Only cash (JPY) can be used to top up the card. Credit/Debit cards cannot be used.

• In case you need to return the card, please go to the service counter in JR East Japan stations. Travelers may receive a deposit of JPY500 when returning the card, but a handling fee of JPY220 will be charged.

• Your voucher will be emailed to you instantly.

• Display the mobile voucher along with a valid photo ID at the ticket redemption point to exchange it for a physical card.

• The closest bus stop is Sendagaya-Gochōme (Sendagaya 5). It is a quick 2-minute walk from the redemption point.

• The closest bus stop is Haneda Kuko Dai 3 Terminal. It is a quick 2-minute walk from the redemption point.

• Board bus Pu 41, Pu 95 to get you there.
