Very convinient thing, I must say. It would be nice to have more information's on the buying site, for example - how to get your card, where to get it and that you have to validate it each time you use public transport (in buses too) - not especially clear for me - all such tickets in my country need only first use validation. I regret that I didn't know, that I can use the train line from airport - I was told on the station that I need to pick up my card on metro station, but there was no information that I can come back and use train, which is more convenient if you travel to the city center. So, it could be done a little bit better, but at the end of the day, we are satisfied - for sure we are buying the card next time, and recommend it for all people. About the public transport of Barcelona - wonderfully organized, usually on time (from our experience - only buses are late, no more than 10 minutes). At last - very good value for this price!

Public transportation in Barcelona is truly amazing and super convenient for exploring the city. The metro is fast, clean, and easy to figure out, even if you don't know Barcelona at all. The buses are also very handy, making it easy to get to different neighborhoods across town. There are plenty of lines and wait times are usually quite short. We were able to get everywhere without needing a car or a taxi. Stations are well marked, and buying or using a ticket is very straightforward. It’s such a pleasure to be able to visit Barcelona so easily thanks to public transit. I definitely recommend the metro and buses to get around, save time, and make the most of the city during your stay.

I can only recommend this card. There were four of us in Barcelona and we really enjoyed the rides. I would like to offer one tip, though: during rush hour the buses were very crowded, so it is better to switch to other means of transport. We couldn't get into two buses, and in the third bus we were packed in so tightly that you couldn't even stand up straight.

We had the 72-hour metro pass and found it ideal. We used it a lot, but also walked a great deal. Wait times for the metro aren't long, though it can get very crowded at times. The metro system is very clear; you can see exactly which metro line to take or where to transfer. We definitely recommend this card.

Great card, we used the subway and various city buses to reach our destinations. Inside the airport it's not that easy to find: you have to go down to the subway platform, where you'll find the red ticket machines to redeem your physical card.

Validity

Before activation: Your pass is valid for 180 days from the date of purchase, or until the last day of February of the following year at the latest.

After activation: Your pass is activated as soon as you use it for the first time and is valid for the number of 24-hour periods chosen. For example, if you select a 48-hour pass and take any public transport at 3pm on a Monday afternoon, your pass is valid till Wednesday 3pm.
