Comparing my visits between Pompei and Herculaneum .. Pompei is huge and would need 3 days to see everything. I had a day pass and didn't even see a quarter of the site. Whereas Hereculeum is much smaller and not so damaged. Beautiful frescos. Mosaic floors and buildings. Stunning. If you are really limited for time visit Herculeum only. Wear comfortable shoes and take water to both sites.

What made our visit special was the seamless skip-the-line access. Navigating Naples can be hectic, but Headout allowed my wife and me to bypass the long queues and dive straight into the history. It saved us hours of waiting and let us focus on enjoying our time together.

Visits to Herculaneum and Pompeii were wonderful. We spent 4 hours in Herculaneum and 6 hours in Pompeii and saw everything we wanted to see. You get to feel the impact that the eruption had to a degree. Fortunately Vesuvius didn't erupt while we were there!!

On my arrival, I could park my car about 300m from the entrance. Then the lady from tourist shop helped me out with my voucher. Since I choosed a two hour visite in my own terms she offered a booklet in Dutch my own language. Normally 16€ but now for 10€

The buried city of Pompeii is definitely worth a visit. The ancient buildings are impressive, and it is fascinating to learn how people lived back then. It’s also really cool to walk through the same streets as those who lived there long ago.

Built 2,000 years ago... But how logical, functional, beautiful and cared for! The villas are perfectly integrated into the landscape, the windows offer magnificent views of the Neopolitan bay and mountains, socially significant buildings are striking in scale and proportions. Even drinking fountains (utilitarian in their purpose) are decorated with marble heads and arranged systematically and quite often! Aesthetics and harmony with nature amaze modern man, and how fantastic this city was 20 centuries ago .... I can't imagine!

A very warm welcome—efficient and friendly. The entrance to the site is ideally located, right across from the ticket pickup point. I highly recommend it!
