Definitely worth a visit if you are staying in Lisbon. It was incredible to see the Pena Palace as it was when occupied by the royal family. Other former royal palaces like Versailles in Paris are beautiful but don't properly convey what life was like in them because things like furnishings and the things pertaining to daily life were destroyed. The Portugese had the foresight to preserve these items so we can now enjoy them in context at this amazing palace. The Regelaria is equally as stunning but it's highlight is not the house, but the grounds. Be sure to take enough time to explore and get lost!

I had a problem that when I booked it said 5:00 pm and I believed it was open to 5:00; it was my entry time which didn't work for me. I was with a tour guide and it worked out in the end. Be careful when booking as you have to book for a specific entry time.

Incredible A must-do. An extremely magical day, the quinta de la regaleira is enchanting. And the palace is breathtaking. Children aged 5 to 13 loved it, as did the adults. Allow plenty of time between each tour, as we ran out of time to see Pena Park.

Everything went very smoothly. My recommendation would be to book the entry late in the afternoon.... the crowds go home around 5:30, so hardly anyone around.

The Quinta da Regaleira palace was magnificent, the gardens mystical, and it was easy to get lost, which was very pleasant. Nevertheless, to charge for an audio guide that gives us no information at all, with excerpts of less than a minute made by AI, is quite scandalous. In the case of the Péna Palace, the audio guide was nice, but rather poorly indicated. The palace is very luxurious. On the other hand, beware of the gardens, which are very poorly signposted. There are no directional signs at every intersection, so it's easy to get lost, and as the distances are quite great, it can quickly get complicated. But the beauty remains.
