Booking was easy and entry into the park using our tickets was swift. We entered via the Ctra del Carmel entrance because much of the walk around the park then is downhill rather than up. The park was clean and very well maintained and we had a lovely day. The only reason for the 4 out of 5 stars is because there were no refreshments on site such as a coffee/tea shop. Which we were aware of, but it would have been nice to have strolled around with a coffee. There was a vending machine for water however but many of our party were elderly and it would have lovely to have taken the day slowly with refreshments.

I requested reservations for 10:00 a.m. at Casa Batlló and 1:00 p.m. at Parc Güell. I received tickets for 9:30 a.m. at Parc Güell and 9:45 a.m. at Casa Batlló. Since it was impossible for me to be in two places at nearly the same time, I emailed to request a change to one of the reservations. I received a reply stating that this was not possible, but that I would receive a credit toward my next reservation. Setting aside the aforementioned issues, both attractions are worth visiting. I am, however, giving 4 stars because the staff at Parc Güell allowed me to enter at 1:00 PM with the ticket reserved for 9:45 AM and for the credit provided by the agency.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE Parc Güell_ I recommend booking in the morning so you can enjoy the experience with fewer people and guided groups. Casa Batlló_ Scheduled times are respected, staff are a little annoyed and not very cheerful, but the architecture is fantastic. I recommend buying the silver or gold ticket to see the upper terraces as well. I recommend booking the first visit in the morning or at lunchtime. I would have preferred there to be staff to stop the girls from taking half-hour photos at every landmark.

Yesterday
I’m planning a trip to celebrate my partner’s big birthday. I read up on possible itineraries here and there and saw Barcelona as a top contender; I booked the trip and accommodation, but I was missing tickets to enter and explore Parc Güell. I saw that I could buy them through Headout and went ahead and did so. I had a fantastic time! They were extremely well-organized and everything was exactly as described. The audio guide included with the ticket was excellent. Definitely worth considering for future attractions! A truly recommended experience!

Park Güell was one of the highlights of my visit to Barcelona. The park is absolutely beautiful, with colorful mosaics, unique architecture, and amazing views over the city. Walking through it felt like being inside a piece of art. The atmosphere is relaxing and inspiring at the same time. It’s a perfect place to take photos, enjoy nature, and admire the creativity of Gaudí. I would definitely recommend visiting Park Güell to anyone traveling to Barcelona!

Park Güell is one of Barcelona's most famous landmarks and one of architect Antoni Gaudí's most important works. The park was built between 1900 and 1914 and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. What makes Park Güell special is its unique artistic style. Gaudí used many forms inspired by nature, with curved paths, sloping columns, and many colorful mosaic decorations called "trencadís." One of the park's best-known symbols is the mosaic salamander fountain, which many people photograph. From the park's large terrace, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Barcelona, which makes the visit even more beautiful. In addition, the park has gardens, paths, and quiet spaces where you can stroll and relax. In my opinion, Park Güell is a very interesting and original place because it combines art, architecture, and nature. It is a perfect place to discover Gaudí's style and enjoy one of the best views of the city.

What an amazing place! Our tour started 3.5 km from Park Güell. We chose to walk—it’s wonderful and easy, and the morning sidewalk cleaning is particularly impressive! What I mean is, the pavement is in great condition! Thanks to the city’s smart and forward-thinking layout, walking here is a real pleasure. We arrived unexpectedly quickly, but there were no issues at the entrance. Of course, a morning visit offers more opportunities. On the plus side, the gingerbread houses are open for free visits and are well-organized. The park is magnificent. My pedometer showed 5 km, and that’s just the park. I couldn’t find a decent audio guide in Russian, but I watched videos and read information about the park. I managed to visit all the locations, even the Laundresses’ Portico. I highly recommend it! I forgot to mention the bonus—an exhibition of Gaudí-style chocolate masterpieces. I added my favorite to the photo—an egg with a lizard (according to Gaudí, an egg has the perfect shape).

  • What to bring

    • Wear comfortable walking shoes as this experience involves a fair amount of walking on uneven paths and multiple stairways.

    • During the summer months, it is recommended to bring hats/caps to protect from the sun, and water for hydration due to high temperatures.

    Accessibility

    • For visitors with mobility problems, Park Güell offers two free wheelchairs for hire (subject to availability).

    • The tourist coach car park has three places for people with reduced mobility.

    Additional information

    • During peak season, April to August, expect a considerable wait time at entry.

    • Note: Park Güell has three entrances—choose what suits you! Av. del Santuari de Sant Josep de la Muntanya has escalators (though it’s steep), Carretera del Carmel (nº 23) is ideal for coach drop-off, and Carrer d’Olot brings you right into the Monumental Zone.

    • If you'd like to skip a lot of climbing and stairs, a great option is to take public transport like Bus #24 or grab a taxi. This will get you to the entrance at Carretera del Carmel, which is just a short 100 meters from the bus stop. You'll find the area with the monuments only another 100 meters in, and mostly flat 200-meter stroll!

    • Children under 6 can enter for free, they just need free tickets. For a seamless entry, book their free tickets during checkout.

    • Guests are allowed to bring outside food and water into the venue. However, they must consume it in the designated picnic areas only.

    • The audio guide is available on the Headout app. Instructions to download will be shared with your ticket, and you can also access them offline. Do bring your own headphones.

    • Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.

    • Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the redemption point.

    • Please arrive at the redemption point 15 minutes before the scheduled time of your visit to avoid any delays.

    Ticket redemption point

    • Please check your final voucher for the redemption point details and specific instructions.
