The boat is comfortable and spacious, the crew is helpful and friendly, and the information provided in English about the scenery and wildlife is interesting. The problem is that we spent the entire cruise in pouring rain, which really spoiled the experience; it would be better to be able to cancel or at least postpone the trip if the weather is bad right up until the last minute, since this excursion is expensive, especially when you don’t earn as much as Norwegians do. We were still able to catch a glimpse of eagles and the Trollfjord through the mist.

I went with my partner and honestly, the quietness of the hybrid boat is next-level – you barely hear anything but the fjord itself. Crew was suuuper chill and answered all our random questions (I had a lot, haha). Saw three white-tailed eagles and one even swooped right past the deck! Indoors was cozy, but I spent most of it outside snapping pics even though my hands nearly froze. Hot chocolate was a lifesaver. Worth every krone, no regrets!
