The music: House music's biggest brand turns 25 this year and is throwing what's basically a 23-week birthday party. Lil Louis flies in from Chicago, Carl Craig from Detroit, Kerri Chandler from New Jersey, all reminding everyone where this music actually came from. Then there's the peak-time end: Jayda G, Eats Everything, Jonas Blue, Floorplan. Defected residents Sam Divine, Monki and Melé carry the through-line. Tastemakers like TSHA, Eliza Rose, and Cinthie come for the contemporary stuff.
The Venue: Chinois
Chinois is dialled. Marina Botafoch, inside Ibiza Gran Hotel, walking distance from Ibiza Town and surrounded by waterfront bars if you're easing in. Inside, it's one room, dancefloor-first, kitted with a sound system that's earned it the Sonic Temple of Ibiza title. No mega-club sprawl, no separate sub-zones to get lost in, just rich décor, immersive lighting, and the kind of room where house music actually lands the way it should.
