The zoo and night safari were enjoyable. However, the ticketing experience was a nightmare. The site wouldn't complete the sale until we booked a time for the night safari tram (not entry). Turned out it was the entry that was supposed to be timed. So much misinformation and minimal useful info. And the fact that it's all part of Mandai Wildlife Reserve would have been useful to know.

The day at Gardens by the Bay (Flower Dome, Cloud Forest and Floral Fantasy) was just so peaceful and also informative. And above all just really stunning. Singapore really lives up to its standards as Flower City. Really beautiful. I had a great day at Gardens at the Bay. The Night Safari was a really great experience as well. Beautiful area with a lot of different animals. The walking routes were well constructed. You could find your way easily. A little highlight was the drive with the Safari Tram. Since the Night Safari is located a little further away I wouldn't recommend to do both Gardens by the Bay and the Night Safari the same day. It was a really long day - but totally worth it!

It was the first time I got to bring a family member with me on an international trip! My cousin Jaimey joined me, and we enjoyed the night safari big time. Unfortunately, you guys were renovating the White Tiger habitat, so we were a little bummed about that, but keep up the good work guys and I'll see you next time!

Walking into the park feels like stepping into another world — the lighting, sounds, and ambience are designed perfectly to mimic the wild after dark. The tram ride is the highlight — it takes you through different geographical zones such as the Himalayan Foothills, Indian Subcontinent, and African Savannah, where you can spot animals like lions, elephants, tapirs, giraffes, and even tigers — all in their natural nocturnal settings. The commentary on board is informative and adds great context about each animal’s behavior at night. The walking trails (like the Leopard Trail and Fishing Cat Trail) are equally fascinating. You get much closer to the animals than on the tram, and spotting a slow loris or a binturong in near-darkness is an unforgettable experience. The experience was great esp the night safari. I spent lots of time trying to access my tickets, including help from two persons at my hotel. Finally, we travelled to the park and got help. At that time, we thought we had been scammed, and were prepared to buy new tickets. Also the tine slot i had booked for the night safari was gone

Getting close up to the elephants, tigers and it felt like you could almost touch other animal's as.you pass in the trams. Definitely spend a few hours here. Do the tram first and then later swap sides if you can to get a different view

A one-of-a-kind experience

Venture into the Night Safari, and explore the nocturnal kingdom! Walk through the different zones and take in the plethora of topographies from around the world. Night Safari is home to over 900 animals, of which 41% are threatened.

Safari trails and Creatures of the Night presentation

The four walking trails, East Lodge Trail, Pangolin Trail, Leopard Trail and Tasmanian Devil Trail, provides a unique chance to get up-close to more nocturnal creatures that cannot be seen on a Safari Adventure Tram. In addition to all the fascinating exhibits and walking trails, Night Safari also hosts a 20-mins Creatures of the Night presentation in which you can see Asian small-clawed otters and Fennec Fox. Similarly at the Thumbuakar performance, see thrilling fire stunts.

What to bring

Bring along a water bottle, an umbrella, and mosquito repellant.

Wear comfortable clothes and comfortable shoes as the park requires a fair amount of walking.

Accessibility

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

Strollers and wheelchairs are available at the venue. While wheelchairs are available free of charge, a small rental charge applies for strollers.

Night Safari also provides other guest facilities such as nursing rooms and first-aid stations.

Additional information

The Creatures of the Night presentation is a popular highlight at Night Safari. It’s highly recommended to arrive early at the venue to be seated before the start time to avoid disappointment.

Note: Pre-booking of time slots is mandatory for all Rainforest Wild Asia, Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, and Bird Paradise tickets, but not required for Night Safari. Please refer to your post-booking voucher for instructions on reserving your time slot. Secure your date & time slot via here upon booking confirmation.

The Multi-Language Tram (MLT) boards only at Tram Station 5. Guests should arrive 10–15 minutes before their booked time, as slots are fixed and cannot be changed.

From 10 April 2025, the fire hybrid show will be replaced with a new LED light show at 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM.

Coach Bays 3 and 5 at Mandai Wildlife East are for shuttle services only. Drivers are requested to use other bays to help reduce congestion.

For the Creatures of the Night Presentation, seat should be booked 2 hours before the show from here.

Guests must not leave the amphitheater while the presentation is going on.

Please note that booking of seats for the presentation is required and can be made on the booking portal 2 hours before each presentation here.
