What to expect

• Discover aquatic creatures with striking colors and patterns, presented in specially designed habitats that bring you closer to marine life.

• Meet fascinating animals associated with waterside environments, including miniature hippos, capybaras, and white tigers.

• Observe animals in settings designed to highlight their natural movements and behavior. You may encounter ring-tailed lemurs, toucans, and African penguins along the way.

• Explore an artistic presentation that encourages you to think about the similarities and differences found across the natural world.

• Throughout the NIFREL Aquazoo, encounter a varied collection of aquatic animals, birds, and land mammals in creative habitats designed around their individual characteristics.

With its blend of wildlife, technology, and art, NIFREL offers a different take on the traditional aquarium or zoo visit. The experience is designed around Kansei-ni Fureru, meaning “touching with sensitivity,” creating opportunities to observe animals at close range while experiencing their environments through artistic presentation.
