Our trip to Neuschwanstein Castle was amazing! We were contacted regularly beforehand and always received up-to-date information! The photo of the meeting spot was just as helpful—it left no room for doubt! Everything went extremely smoothly and on time, but never felt rushed or superficial! A magnificent castle—there’s not much more to say. It’s definitely worth a visit, no ifs, ands, or buts. Our guide, Steven, was fabulous: punctual, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He conveys passion and expertise with every word. WELL DONE! The tour went very well—from the meeting point to the bus ride up the hill to the carriage ride back down, everything was perfect.

He was, without a doubt, an incredible guide who made our entire experience truly unforgettable. Stephen is a master storyteller. Rather than just repeating dry facts, he brought the history of King Ludwig II and the castle to life with fascinating, engaging stories that kept us hooked from start to finish. On the walk up to the castle, he made sure we didn’t miss a thing—showing us all the best hidden viewpoints, scenic stops, and photo spots that we definitely would have overlooked on our own. A wonderful tour from start to finish! The guide was personable and accommodating. The driver was also very funny. We learned not only about the castles but also Munich, so that was a nice bonus. Both castles were very beautiful and the live tour for the first castle was especially entertaining and interesting. For the second castle, it was only an audioguide, but it was good quality. We didn't get a photo from the bridge because the queue was incredibly long, but it didn't matter - we still got some lovely photos and experienced the castle up close. I would definitely do another tour with this company!

Accessibility

Neuschwanstein Castle offers an elevator for wheelchair access. To ensure availability, we recommend you reserve it in advance.

The hiking trail to the castle is paved and partly very steep. It's best to use the horse carriage transport where any regular-sized, foldable wheelchair can be stowed in the trunk of the carriage. Please note that the carriages do not have a ramp.

Important: The 'Starting Time' you choose (shown on your voucher) is your ticket collection time, not your castle entry time. Your castle tour will begin more than one hour after you collect your tickets.

Please collect your tickets from our office at International Ticket & Travel Center, Bahnhofstrasse 12, 87629 Füssen, near Füssen Train Station.

Getting to our office: If you’re arriving by train, you’ll find our office at the end of the platform at Füssen Train Station. For those arriving by car, parking is available next to the office.

After collecting your tickets, please budget at least 90 minutes to reach the castle. This includes time for parking and transportation by shuttle, horse-drawn carriage, or on foot.
