GroupVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5My girlfriend loved the romantic castles! After picking up the tickets at the office it was clear what to do. Great explaination! We traveled to the castles, parked the car exactly where we wanted. We visited both castles and really enjoyed the our experience! It is important to be at Neuschwanstein at time for your time slot. We were a bit late and had to rush up the stairs for our tour. other then that lots of reasons to visit both castles! its worth the money!SSusan F
CoupleVerified booking3 weeks ago4/5Headout were the only available ticket option for my visit, I would have given 5 stars if I hadn't been given misleading information when I telephoned in. However, the desk was easily accessible and the information both printed and verbal was precise. In fact, the lady gave some extra information about the best spots for photography!NNikhil M

CoupleVerified booking2 weeks ago4/5The experience in the region south of Munich was very good—a pleasant trip with a palace, castle, and top-tier landscapes. There are two things that should be improved. First, while our guide did speak English... it was Southeast Asian English, which was honestly quite hard to understand. Aside from how challenging it can be to speak in front of so many people, it was very obvious that everything was being read off notes, and combined with poor pronunciation, it made things difficult. Mind you, it's worth noting that inside the palace and castle the guides are different, and their English is top-notch. If I understood correctly, anyone who wanted to could leave their earphones on the bus so they could reuse them for future groups. I took mine with me, but if that really is the case, it honestly feels pretty unhygienic.
Step into a fairytale
Begin your experience at the designated meeting point near Neuschwanstein Castle. Here, receive your audio guide, available in multiple languages. After a brief security check, make your way to the castle entrance. Step inside to admire the castle's interior, a stunning example of Romanesque Revival architecture, adorned with medieval-inspired murals, intricate woodwork, and lavish furnishings. Explore the Throne Hall, inspired by Byzantine architecture, and the impressive Singer’s Hall, known for its frescoes and grand stage. Learn about the visionary king and his passion for mythology, art, and music, which heavily influenced the castle’s design. With your audio guide in hand, uncover details about the castle's construction, Ludwig II’s grand vision, and the blend of medieval and 19th-century influences that shaped this architectural gem.
Optional add-ons
Enhance your visit with a guided tour of Neuschwanstein Castle and Linderhof Castle grounds, including entry to both castles. Travel comfortably with round-trip transfers from Munich, available by AC bus (Apr-Dec) or train (Jan-Mar). For a scenic experience, start your journey with a pick-up from Hohenschwangau Village, located at the foot of the castle. Then, enjoy a picturesque horse carriage or bus ride to Mary’s Bridge, offering a perfect view of Neuschwanstein Castle right behind it.
