Meet your guide and walk towards the entrance of this Neo-Gothic castle built by the then-Bavarian ruler, King Maximilian II. The yellow walls and traditional medieval design of the exterior immediately grab your attention. Your guide will tell you how the design of the castle is in Biedermeier style and contains more than 90 murals by German history painters such as Moritz von Schwind and Ludwig Lindenschmit.
