When we visited NEMO my none-technical wife thought it would be a trial. But we were there five full hours and we both loved it. We have heard criticism that it is targeted at children and some science is incorrect. Well the science seemed good to me and the simple clear illustrations were very helpful and some of the evolution schematics and evidence were fascinating to me as an engineering post-doc and both of us as Christians. And - there is nothing reprehensible in explanations being aimed at children. It is good to see them being engaged and excited. Well done.

Visiting the museum really saved our rainy day in Amsterdam! My son said it was the best museum he had ever seen. The staff went out of their way to explain everything, the kids could touch and try out everything, and the exhibition is super well done! We easily could have spent the entire day there! Especially with kids, this museum is truly a must!

It is a wonderful museum, with a great collection of paintings. Very interesting, everything was very clean, excellent. It could really use a room for temporary exhibitions by Latin American painters like Benito Ramos Catalan, Pacheco Altamirano, Rafael Cauduro, Iván Olivares Alcalde, Yuki Yamamoto Cortes, Carolina Testart Aguirre, etc., etc. Some of these painters are still alive.

The Rijksmuseum was definitely worth a visit. The museum app is highly recommended. We didn't find the canal cruise all that exciting. With the combo ticket, it was a bit cheaper overall. It wouldn't have been worth the standard price of €17.50 to us. There was an audio guide recorded in 10 languages, and earphones were handed out as needed.

The NEMO Museum is a fun and educational museum for children. Besides them, it's also a great way for adults to brush up on their knowledge.
