    Getting started

    The Nobel Prize Museum is housed in Stockholm's historic Stock Exchange Building in the heart of Gamla Stan. Present your ticket at the entrance desk. Your multilingual audio guide is accessible directly on your phone.

    What to expect:

    The museum flows through permanent exhibitions built around the laureates, their work, personal objects, and stories, with films, interactive stations, and artefacts spread across the space. Move at your own pace or follow the audio guide across all sections.

    • Interactive displays let you engage hands-on with the ideas behind Physics, Chemistry, Medicine, Literature, and Peace categories.

    • Multimedia films and documentary segments add depth to individual laureate stories throughout the museum.

    After your visit, head to Bistro Nobel inside the museum. Check under your chair for a Nobel laureate's autograph, and try the Nobel Ice Cream, a dessert served at the official prize banquets.

    • Keep in mind that large bags & baggage are not allowed on this experience. Pack wisely!
