Murano & Burano Islands Boat Tour with Glass Blowing

Our trip to **Murano, Burano and Torcello Islands** was absolutely worth taking! We were a group of five, including my mum and my 8-year-old daughter, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My daughter especially loved the boat ride, and watching the glass-blowing demonstration was both fascinating and informative. It was definitely one of the highlights of our Venice trip. A special thanks to the **Headout team** for making the entire experience smooth and hassle-free. Venice can be quite confusing, especially when it comes to finding meeting points, but the team guided us clearly at every step and made sure we knew exactly where to go. What impressed us even more was their prompt response to all our queries on WhatsApp. They were always helpful, supportive and quick to respond. A special mention to **Chris** for being particularly helpful throughout. Overall, a wonderful experience, made even better by excellent customer support. Highly recommended for families visiting Venice!

This was a great boat ride!! Murano is were the glass blower factories are so hot to watch one in progress. He made a horse and a vase. Was cool to watch. Temperature was over 1000c. Burano is were the fishermen live. All houses are painted different colors. Walked around and looked at different shops Enjoy this would do it again.

We took the tour departing from Santa Lucia Station. When we arrived at the information point, they told us that the 10:30 tour we booked actually departed at 10:30 from San Marco and not from the station. They easily changed our tickets, moving our appointment to 11:00 with "another boat". At the meeting point, they told us we were right and the boat actually departed from Santa Lucia Station at 10:30! What a mess! However, despite the chaotic inconvenience, the boat staff were super helpful in listening to us, assisting us right away, and finding a quick solution. So, that was great. I really liked having a guide on board who shared some information during the boat ride; she was very interesting and super nice too. The glassblowing demonstration in Murano was interesting and spectacular. We had 1 hour in Murano and 1 hour 30 minutes in Burano (which is absolutely worth it!). Perfect timing for a tour! Keep in mind that the return trip from Burano to Santa Lucia train station takes a good hour, about 1 hour and 10 minutes. The meeting point is a 5-minute walk from the station entrance, which is really convenient. Overall, highly recommended tour.

We decided to take the tour at the last minute and ended up with an English/Spanish group. Our guide was Beatrice, a truly wonderful young woman who explained everything to us in great detail! She also made sure to ask if we understood everything and, if not, she would have explained it again in Italian (but luckily we understood English). If you happen to have her as your guide, I can assure you she’s a sure bet! Thank you so much!!

I really enjoyed the glassblowing demonstration, and I have to say that the boat tour guide's explanations were very interesting and thorough.

The mix of guide info with demonstrations blended with roam time were perfect. Where to meet could have been clearer. Being a 75 year old and not being very proficient on the internet made the logistics part a little stressful.
