We did the Mount Batur tour a few days ago. At 2:30 am we got picked up by our excellent driver Aguss. The biggest respect, because he told us that he does this every day. We arrived at the meeting point and began hiking Mount Batur. Would definitely recommend this tour, because the sunrise was beautiful and worth getting up so early. We than walked down, got picked up by our driver, who drove us to a coffee plantation. Aguss made sure we felt very comfortable and even offered to lay the seats down because we were so tired after waking up so early. We would definitely recommend going on this tour when you're in Ubud.

I would like to thank Bagonk (driver) and Patrick (mountain guide). They were both fantastic. Bagonk was very friendly and messaged me the day before to confirm pick up time- he also navigated the roads very well and made sure we were all comfortable. Patrick was also amazing and I appreciated how he would check in with us on the trek up and down. The tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Bali. The sunrise was beautiful and well worth waking up early for! We went to the hot springs after the trek and it was also very atmospheric.

Very nice!!! Our guide Jason (I don't know if that is spelled that way) was really top notch! He speaks great English and made the climb really enjoyable, with breaks and anecdotes about the mountain. The ascent is very smooth, in a couple of hours you get to the top. After the descent we also went to the hot springs which were really hot and to have a coffee/tea tasting at a really nice plantation with super life. Recommended!!!

Mount Batur sunrise trekking is a big journey. You have to be prepared, fisically prepared to make it. It is a hard climb, but the prize in the end is beautiful. The staff is also great. Our driver Broto is a great person, very polited and helpful. Our trekking guide Roman is a funny man, very professional. We liked everything.
