As soon as you head off to the abbey by foot from the parking, you see more and more of the astonishing details. We arrived around 4 pm with my partner and toddler (2yo), who we brought with the stroller. In the beginning, the entrance was a bit overwhelming because it was very busy, but as we got close to the abbey the crowd had spread out and it became more pleasant. The visit itself was quite impressive, you can't stop to wonder how this was all created. The only 'downside' was that there were no signs with information, so if you don't take the audio guide / tablet, you only get to admire the architectural beauty, but you don't really leave smarter than you arrived. The weather was partly sunny, partly clouded, which gave us the benefit of seeing it in different shades and lights.

the visit was very nice and thanks to the interactive audio guides we were able to understand and appreciate the details. On the other hand, I was not satisfied with the functionality of the headout app, which required for each login to click a link received by email and did not allow us to download the tickets and be able to use them offline (in case of no internet connection at Mont ST Michael we would have been in trouble)

I loved the the experience being in this magnificent preserved middle aged city, abbey and chapel. Ik loved the building construction and the story of development the plans, the patience and the longterm thinking aiming the target. I am curious about the 8-8-8 lifestyle of the monks. Some lessons I will take home to slow down life and live more mindful with small targets.

We can only pass on the tip to get there as early as possible. This way it was relatively relaxed and we even saw Le Mont Saint-Michel "rise" out of the fog. It's worth buying a ticket in advance so you can get in relatively easily.

Having pre-paid tickets made the entry quick and easy, and allowed us to have a full tour of the abbey! No need to wait in a line for tickets and we were able to go through the full abbey. A truly amazing experience

The visit to Mont Saint Michel was a beautiful experience: as I approached the abbey, an enchanting view opened up to my eyes. Arriving at the top, the abbey held something special for me both religiously and architecturally. I will forever carry with me the great emotion of this magical place!
