It is a wonderful museum, with a great collection of paintings. Very interesting, everything was very clean, excellent. It could really use a room for temporary exhibitions by Latin American painters like Benito Ramos Catalan, Pacheco Altamirano, Rafael Cauduro, Iván Olivares Alcalde, Yuki Yamamoto Cortes, Carolina Testart Aguirre, etc., etc. Some of these painters are still alive.

All artwork is great. It was extremely busy when we were there which made it difficult to move around. I think the staff tried to spread us out by encouraging us to start at the top and work our way down but that rendered the audio guide completely useless

Awesome museum but can be overwhelming and hard to monever . It's busy in the morning, afternoons are much more quiet. School kids are everywhere. Great collection of art! Would recommend!

The ever changing, always suberb Rijksmuseum never ceases to conjour up awe and wonder as the jewel in the crown of the world's very best museum quarter. Usually impossible to get into at short notice without needing a second mortgage, we booked 14hrs before our excellent crowd beating 9am entry slot via the always suberb Headout.com. All at ~70% of the usual fee. Would reuse in a New York heart beat, cannot recommend highly enough.

So grateful for the ease of purchasing tickets to Rijks via Headout. Entry inside was a breeze and app was easy to use. It has been 12yrs since coming to the Rijks museum, in 2014 I took my father (his first time in a museum ever!) Great visit, full of interesting works of art and good stories behind their creators. For sure you'll find out outstanding pieces, unusual forms, subliminal spaces, concepts, messages (in sum) that you'll not only enjoy aesthetically but also will make you rethink your everyday reality. A "must" visit in your stay in Amsterdam.
