Private Peaceful

Private Peaceful tickets are now available to purchase for a limited 2-week run at London’s Garrick Theatre. This COVID-compliant performance includes “See It Safely” principles to guarantee audiences will remain safe and protected throughout the show. This includes safe seating (social distancing), hand sanitation, face coverings, track-and-trace, contactless tickets, temperature testing, and deep sanitation of the theatre.

Set in the horrifying backdrop of the First World War, Private Peaceful is a tale of love, loss, and courage. Based on the best-selling novel with the same name, the story follows Private Tommo Peaceful, a young First World War soldier, who reflects upon the past events that made him the person he is now. Follow his devon upbringing, to romancing with his childhood sweetheart, and finally, the battles and injustice of war that brought him to the front line, you’ll see it all. What makes this performance all the more exciting is the cast. Private Tommo is played by Emily Costello, the first-ever female performer to play Tommo professionally.
