Was ammezing! An Unforgettable Visit! Visiting the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace was incredible from start to finish. Everything about the tour was top-tier, but the highlights for me were definitely the State Dining Room—with its magnificent, historic setup—and the stunning Blue and White Drawing Rooms, which are absolute masterpieces of gold detail and elegance. Seeing these iconic royal spaces in person exceeded all my expectations. A must-see experience in London!

Buckingham Palace was one of the highlights of my trip to London. The State Rooms were absolutely beautiful, and I especially loved the Throne Room and the Ballroom. The paintings, furniture, and decorations were elegant and impressive. It was also very interesting to see where so many important royal events take place. I’m very happy I had the chance to visit and would definitely recommend it.

Buckingham Palace is always very interesting. You can tell it's a lived-in residence because the furniture is very well maintained and the areas are very clean. Just two downsides: I hoped the audio guide would share more facts about life in the palace rather than historical events, though they are all important, and unfortunately, you cannot take photos.

We anjoyed the tour of Buckinham Palace State Rooms. Ignoring the lovely furnishings and paintings etc what impressed me the most was the richness of the actual rooms and all the spaces toured. My only reservation was that we felt that we had paid for more, which may be the case when renovations have been completed.

the paintings are a real treat, and if you know a little about neo classical planning, the state room sequence is a real treat. but the music room cieling is the piece de resistance! I justxeanted to lie on the floor and look up....

The tour of the palace was easy to follow, and the instructions and explanations were clear and understandable. I was especially impressed by the palace’s luxurious and grand atmosphere. I particularly loved the grand staircase at the entrance and the beautiful, elegant dining hall. The only downside was that photography wasn’t allowed inside, which was a little disappointing.

Explore a working palace

The Buckingham Palace acts as the London residence of His Majesty the King, and one of the few working royal palaces to remain in the world today. Every summer, the doors of the palace are opened for visitors from across the globe to learn facts and discover secrets about the Palace and the State Rooms. The State Rooms have been dubbed the “heart” of Buckingham Palace and include 19 plush rooms, ornated with treasures from the Royal Collection. Some of these treasures include paintings by Canaletto, Rubens, Poussin, and Rembrandt and extravagant sculptures by Canova.

Learn as you go

Feel free to plug in your multimedia audio guide and walk through the decked-up rooms. Learn about the historical importance of the State Rooms and, in effect, the Palace. Find out how the formerly known “Buckingham House” transformed into the royal palace we know it to be today. End the tour by taking a stroll along the south side of the Palace Garden. The serenity and peaceful surroundings of the Garden will only heighten the views of the palace from this stunning viewpoint.

What to bring

You must carry a printed copy of your ticket to be displayed at the entrance of the palace.

What’s not allowed

Keep in mind alcohol, drones, bicycles, folding bikes, roller-skates, push cars, weapons, umbrellas, buggies, folding bikes, or skateboards are not allowed on this experience. Pack wisely!

Eating and drinking are not permitted inside the Palace, Royal Mews, or The King’s Gallery.

Large luggage pieces or backpacks will not be permitted inside.

Keep your camera tucked away – photography is strictly not allowed inside Buckingham Palace.

Mobile phones must be switched off while inside the gallery.

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

Accessibility

This experience is wheelchair accessible. If you require step-free access, you must book it at the venue directly.

For safety reasons, pushchairs are not permitted in the State Rooms. They must be checked in and reclaimed at the exit. Baby carriers are available for loan.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.
