Review of Castelo de São Jorge Castelo de São Jorge in Lisbon is definitely worth a visit. The castle is perched atop a hill and offers a stunning view of the city, the Tagus River, and the surrounding neighborhoods. The ancient walls and towers give you a good sense of Lisbon’s history. It’s fun to walk around and explore different parts of the castle. I found the view from the castle walls particularly impressive. It can get crowded, and the admission fee isn’t cheap. Still, I think it’s a beautiful attraction that you should definitely include in your visit to Lisbon. I give the castle 4 out of 5 stars.

We went as a family of 4 and entry was straightforward with no issues. Was not too busy and was easy to get around without feeling rushed. Great views and interesting history would recommend the visit.

The process was very smooth and easy to use at the gate. No issues at all! A lot more efficient too because you didnt have to wait in the tickets line at the entrance..

Skip-the-line tickets. Thanks to the tickets, we were able to go straight into the park. A beautiful, pleasant, shaded park with a splendid view of Lisbon.

It was extremely easy to purchase tickets, manage the visit, and gain access to the sites; however, unfortunately, the monuments were not in the same state of preservation as others we visited, nor were they located in the same town or in neighboring municipalities.

We really enjoyed the castle but unfortunately it was cut short as we accidentally walked out the exit gate and quickly realised we walked out as we walked back in a man who worked there told us we couldn't go back in I offered to show me tickets incase he thought we where trying to sneak in but he seen us walk out and quickly turn back around and he would not let us back in we were very disappointed as we still wanted to look around and sit down and eat some food and have a drink
