The Vatican Museums are absolutely beautiful and definitely worth seeing at least once. The artwork, architecture, and history are incredible, and the Sistine Chapel is especially impressive in person. That said, it was extremely crowded, which made it difficult to really stop and appreciate everything. I’d definitely recommend going as early as possible and booking tickets ahead of time. An amazing experience overall, but be prepared for a lot of people!

We were so disappointed when the official 18€ Colosseum tickets sold out, but Headout saved our trip! Once inside, my mind was blown. The sheer size of the building is unimaginable for the era it was built—it 100% deserves to be a Wonder of the World. Honestly, it felt like walking straight into a Game of Thrones set. You see these massive, supernatural-looking buildings on TV and never believe they exist in real life. But this one actually does!

We picked up the tickets at the agreed-upon location. However, it was complete chaos there at first, and the lady from Vivicos Tours was, unfortunately, a bit rude and initially didn’t give us the correct information about which guide we were supposed to go to. It’s best to arrive at the agreed-upon location early enough to avoid any stress. I’d deduct one point because of the lady, but since we did receive the tickets, I’m giving it 5 stars.

The agreed-upon meeting spot was easy to find. Here, too, you should arrive early enough. Women must have their shoulders and knees covered (you can also buy scarves on site for €10); other than that, everything went smoothly. We didn’t have to wait in line for long, but there were still a lot of people at the Vatican. It was very hot, and unfortunately, there wasn’t really any air conditioning. But it’s definitely worth seeing and truly impressive!

We took the tour in German with Maria. It was a great tour, and we learned so much. Our tour was first thing in the morning, so the heat wasn’t too bad. The ticket lines can be busy and confusing so it was better to meet the guide a short walk away and then the guide took us to the correct line and escorted us right to the entrance (fast track which was brilliant) We booked the tickets the night before which was very last minute but worth it. Very straight forward and I'm glad I've found the headout app and will definitely use it again.

A gem unlike any other in the world. The Vatican is one of those places that exceeds all expectations. The majesty of St. Peter’s Basilica, the beauty of the square, and the incredible artistic and historical richness make for an unforgettable visit. The service from the staff who helped me at the office was excellent—they were super friendly and attentive—and the tour was great, but I do want to emphasize that if you want to enjoy a more peaceful experience at the Vatican, I highly recommend booking well in advance because it gets very crowded by midday. Confirmation email with all the necessary information for picking up the voucher, which is available at a location right in front of the Vatican Museum entrance. Upon arrival, I immediately received my printed ticket—without having to wait in line—and was escorted by a staff member to the security checkpoint inside the museum! It was really worth it to purchase the ticket in advance through Headout!

The process was straightforward. A guide took us to the entrance, and after that we were able to explore everything on our own. However, it was extremely crowded. We were rushed through the Sistine Chapel itself in just a few minutes. That’s not the organizer’s fault, though. Overall, it was a very impressive experience.
