Features

• Briefing and equipment: On arrival, your guide walks you through the buggy controls, safety procedures, and the route plan. Helmets and goggles are provided and must be worn throughout. Buggies are modern and enclosed; more stable than a quad on uneven ground. Allow about 15 minutes for the briefing before the ride begins.

• The buggy ride: The 2-hour route takes you through palm grove paths, open rocky desert, and past traditional Berber settlements. The terrain varies between sandy tracks and compacted earth, varied enough to keep the pace interesting. Both passengers can swap driving duties at agreed stops along the route. Your guide leads in a vehicle ahead and makes stops for photos at scenic points.

• Mint tea break: Midway through the ride, you stop at a Berber family's home for a glass of mint tea and a short rest. It's a genuine local welcome rather than a tourist set-piece, and a useful break before the second half of the ride.

• Return to Marrakesh: After the ride ends at the base camp, your driver returns you to your hotel or a central drop-off point in Marrakesh.
