We had a really nice and unique experience in the Agafay Desert, even though the weather was quite unusual. Instead of the typical dry landscape, the desert was surprisingly green due to recent rainfall – something we were told hasn’t happened like this in years. It actually had its own kind of beauty. Our guide Houcine did a great job overall. At the beginning, the organization felt a bit unstructured since he was managing multiple groups at once. However, he still made a strong effort to stay attentive, answer questions, and keep the group together. He regularly checked on everyone, even going around the camp to make sure no one felt left out, and ensured that everyone returned safely to their desired locations. The experience itself included traditional food (tajine), camel riding, and quad biking – all well organized. During our activities, we even experienced heavy rain and hail, which was unexpected. The team offered us the option to return to the city early, which we really appreciated. In the end, we stayed, and we’re glad we did because the weather improved later. Overall, Houcine was very caring and committed, and despite the challenging weather conditions, we had a memorable and enjoyable experience.

We had an amazing camel ride experience! Everything was smooth and well organized from start to finish — we received a clear confirmation, the pickup was exactly at the agreed meeting point, and we were taken safely to the destination. The camels were real and well taken care of. Even though it was just the two of us and the weather was a bit unpredictable (sun and rain), everyone involved was truly engaged and did their best to make our experience as positive as possible.
