This little tucked away hammam near Sultanhamet square offered a very relaxing experience. The ladies were both thorough yet sensitive to your needs. This is a "traditional " hammam, so the experience is naked with just a towel and the ladies are only wearing a bikini bottom when scrubbing and applying the foam bath. That said, they were kind and motherly in their administrations. The owner is welcoming and 4th generation running this historic hammam built in the 1700s. Well worth the price!

Ich liebe die Atmosphäre dieses alten Hamams. Aus meiner Sicht hat die Einrichtung genau die richtige Patina. Ich hatte allerdings auch das Glück, dass ich fast alleine war, auch zeitlich konnte man mir sehr flexibel entgegenkommen. Es war ein einmaliges Erlebnis, so etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt, ich fühlte mich hinterher so rein wie noch nie in meinem ganzen Leben. Alles völlig unspektakulär. Und sehr freundlich. Aus meiner Sicht auch für einen fairen Preis. Der Eingang ist allerdings etwas schwer zu finden, wenn man ihn nicht kennt (Foto dazu anbei).

La prima cosa che mi è piaciuta è stata l'acoglienza del proprietario del Hammam. Persona simpaticissima, disponibile e professionale. Anche i due professionisti (un uomo e una donna) che hanno seguito me e mio marito sono stati bravissimi. Ci siamo riscaldati e rilasati dopo due giorni ventosi e freddi ad Istanbul. Ci torneremo sicuramente l'anno prossimo!
