Excelentă organizare și ghid profesionist! Am achiziționat prin Headout turul ghidat la Palatul Topkapi și Harem pentru data de 21 august 2026, iar experiența a fost una foarte plăcută. Procesul de rezervare a fost simplu și rapid, iar confirmarea a venit imediat pe email și în aplicație. Ghidul nostru a fost extrem de bine pregătit, vorbind o engleză impecabilă și oferind explicații detaliate despre istoria palatului, viața sultanilor și secretele haremului. Am evitat cozile uriașe de la intrare , ceea ce a economisit cel puțin o oră de așteptare. Recomand cu căldură Headout pentru excursii în Istambul.

Topkapi was Interesting and a great experience. The Guide was motivated and explains the story much intressting. Hagia was a dark building (maybe of course the Renovation outside) a stressful time. The security inside was maximal stressed and unfriendly. Our guide was not motivate he spoke very boring an in the same volume.... Topkapi-Palast was top Hagia was so lala. For all was the price to high!!!

I enjoyed the tour and the explanations offered by Hal, our guide. They were very informative and made the entire experience worth the time and money. I appreciate the guide for making the tour more interesting by sharing real life experiences from the life of the sultans, the harem and how all the Topkapi palace life contributed to lifting the ottoman elite. This kind of things you can't find in books. We visited as a family, with our daughters 9 and 6 years old, and although we had to translate for them, they were captivated and stayed interested the entire time we had Hal guiding us. This was a very good experience and I recommend to anyone interested to get real insights while visiting the Topkapi palace.

1500 hrs/July 2026. Easy entry and no lines. Hot, stuffy and crowded inside the palace. Many interesting items, fine art and furnishings. My advice is to go early in order to see everything. We went too late in the day and missed some parts we would have liked to have seen. Our fault. The palace and grounds are beautiful. Definitely recommend!

Despite the fact that the Dsign cafe now has a new name we found our guide. He was very knowledgeable and entry to all parts of palace was smoothly done. We loved the palace and enjoyed all the historical information. Thank you and well done.

Tour guide was knowledgeable and patient The meeting place was confusing as name of cafe had changed and no signs Also time of meeting had been brought forward by 1 hour from 11 to 10 am so anxious as not updated on App

The guide was quite biased when discussing certain historical and political issues. In my opinion, a guide should remain neutral, especially when discussing topics that have two sides or different perspectives. Their role is to provide information and guide visitors, rather than openly expressing personal opinions. I also noticed that he was particularly talkative with one child in the group while the other children received much less attention. This can make other children feel left out, and I believe guides should make an effort to treat everyone in the group equally. I have previously taken a guided tour of Topkapı Palace, but unfortunately, this experience was very disappointing in comparison. At the end of the tour, the guide said that anyone who wanted to leave could do so and explore independently. We decided to leave because my brother was unwell and was struggling to walk for long periods. However, the guide responded to this decision in a sarcastic and unpleasant manner, which I found unnecessary and disrespectful. There was also some inaccurate information given during the tour. For example, the guide suggested that “mosque” and “masjid” refer to different types of places, with one supposedly being a local term and the other referring to a larger mosque. This is incorrect—“mosque” and “masjid” both refer to a place of worship for Muslims, with “masjid” being the Arabic term. Overall, I was very disappointed with this tour. If you are looking for a guide who presents historical subjects in a neutral and balanced way and treats everyone in the group equally, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Additional information

You skip the ticket lines but you cannot skip the security check. The security check can take up to 60 minutes during peak seasons.

Children will be asked to present their valid passports at the entrance of the museums in order to validate their age.

This attraction cannot be accessed directly by presenting the digital Pass at the museum. You need to enter with the tour guide.

All participants are required to use a headset during the guided tour, so a valid ID must be provided as a deposit and will be returned once the tour has ended.

You are advised to arrive 15 minutes before the tour start time.
