Nestled in a historic traditional building just near the Hagia Sophia this venue was easy to locate. Smooth and hassle free entry. The experience of the show was surreal. It's more of a Sufi ceremony than a public performance that transcends you beyond the everyday. If you are up for such feels, please don't miss it!

What to expect

Mevlevi Sema ritual

The Sema is a centuries-old ritual of the Mevlevi Order, rooted deeply in Turkey’s spiritual and artistic heritage. It reflects the dervish’s journey toward inner harmony and divine love, expressed through a mix of prayer, poetry, movement, and traditional Turkish music.
