Schindlers Fabriktour war ein Höhepunkt unserer Städtreise in Krakau. Vorallem höchstes Lob an den Tourguide für seine ausführlichen und informativen Erläuterungen. Sehr kompetent mit sehr viel Hintergrundwissen. Wie waren etwas skeptisch, ob die Führung wirklich problemlos klappt. Wir hatten aufgrund der starken Nachfrage sehr früh online gebucht u.auch nur noch ein Zeitfenster in Englisch erhalten. Wir bekamen nach online Zahlung zwar eine Buchungsbestätigung mit einem Button Tickets anzeigen, aber da tat sich dann in der App nichts mehr. Beim check in an der Kasse wurden wir brüsk abgewiesen mit dem Hinweis Fremdanbieter -please wait ouside. Aber auf der Liste des Guides waren wir vorgemerkt, also slles Bestens!

Very good experience, our guide was good ,answered any questions we had about swindlers and the people he saved .I would say to do the full guided tour of the ghetto as well as the factory for the full story of the people that were persecuted in those dreadful years,the reason I use the word people and not the word Jews is beyond the fact of their religion they were people stripped of their humanity

The tour was made so much better by our guide Mikel. He was very knowledgeable and took time to answer our questions. The tour itself is a must & tells the history of the occupation and of Schindler himself, more than worth it.

Very good guide! The hole experience got four instead of five stars because it was not easy to understand where to meet up, should we be in the line or where should we wait? Also delayed by nearly 30 minutes and a bit crowded inside during the tour. This part was decided by the museum and not by our guide, who did a very good job and gave us a superintresring tour!

What to bring

Bring a valid photo ID or passport for entry.

Wear comfortable shoes as a fair amount of walking and stair climbing is involved.

Bring a warm layer, especially if your tour includes the Wieliczka Salt Mine, where the temperature is around 14°C (57°F).

What’s not allowed

Large bags and backpacks are not permitted inside the Wieliczka Salt Mine.

Food and drinks are not allowed inside the museum or the salt mine.

Pets are not permitted, except for registered service animals.

Alcohol, drugs, and any form of intoxication are strictly prohibited on the premises.

Accessibility

This experience is suitable for wheelchair users.

Additional information

Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before your scheduled start time; latecomers may be denied entry and no refunds will be issued.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The tour of the factory is not recommended for children under 14 years due to the emotional intensity of the experience.

The tour operates rain or shine.

Lockers or a deposit area may be available onsite for your belongings.

The salt mine, located about 14km from Krakow city centre, involves descending and ascending approximately 800 steps.
