Wizyta w Kopalni Soli „Wieliczka” to absolutny majstersztyk, jednak to genialny przewodnik sprawił, że ta wycieczka zamieniła się w prawdziwą przygodę. Od samego wejścia i zejścia monumentalnymi schodami w dół, aż po wyjazd dynamiczną, górniczą windą, cała trasa była perfekcyjnie zorganizowana. Podziemny świat zapiera dech w piersiach. Trasa Turystyczna prowadzi przez niesamowite, surowe komory i klimatyczne korytarze. Prawdziwym punktem kulminacyjnym, na który wszyscy czekali, była oczywiście Kaplica św. Kingi. Kunszt i precyzja, z jaką wykuto w soli te wszystkie żyrandole, płaskorzeźby i ołtarze, po prostu odbierają mowę. Do tego dochodzą magiczne, podziemne jeziora solankowe o niezwykłych barwach, które robią piorunujące wrażenie na żywo. To, co jednak wyróżnia tę wycieczkę, to pasja i wiedza przewodnika. Zamiast nudnego recytowania suchych faktów, zostaliśmy zasypani genialnymi anegdotami o dawnej pracy górników, roli koni pod ziemią oraz legendami o Skarbniku i pierścieniu św. Kingi. Przewodnik miał świetne poczucie humoru, dbał o tempo grupy i potrafił zaciekawić każdego – od najmłodszych po starszych. Bez tych opowieści to miejsce byłoby „tylko” pięknym podziemiem, a z nim stało się fascynującą podróżą w czasie. Wskazówka dla innych: Warto zabrać wygodne buty (schodów i chodzenia jest sporo!) oraz coś cieplejszego do ubrania, bo pod ziemią panuje stała, rześka temperatura. Like descending into another planet. The Wieliczka Salt Mine isn't a "mine" — it's a 700-year-old underground city carved entirely out of salt. You go down 800 steps and suddenly you're walking through grey salt tunnels, then a massive chapel where EVERYTHING - the chandeliers, the altar, the statues - is made of salt. The St. Kinga's Chapel literally took my breath away. It's cold (17°C year-round), it's deep (135m underground), and it's surreal. The acoustics, the underground lakes, the air that tastes salty... you feel the weight of centuries of miners who created this. Tip: Book the first morning tour. No crowds, and the light inside the chapel is magical. A must-do in Krakow. 10/10.

Je recommande cette visite sans hésiter, vous allez descendre a 135 m de profondeur. Et voir comme des hommes et les animaux ont travaillé pour pouvoir extraire le sel. Cela va vous émerveiller par son histoire, ses galeries immenses, ces chapelles, ces lacs.... Pour les français, je recommande le guide Marek Czyzowsk (Marc) un super guide qui vous expliquera l'histoire et les merveilles de cette mine avec un pointe humour pour passer une agréable visite. Je remercie Marek pour ce moment inoubliable, un très grand merci à lui, il a su animé cette visite avec professionnalisme et humour pour pouvoir passer un agréable moment. Un guide en or. Die vielen parallelen Führungen sind zeitlich extrem durchorganisiert. Etwas überspitzt formuliert: Man wird 'durchgejagd'. Extrem war der anschließende Museumsbesuch. Sprichwörtlich im Soldaten-Schnell-Marsch absolvierten wir alle Museenräume und Museums-Hallen in 20 Minuten! Für die große Hl. Barbara-Halle waren 5 Minuten Zeit. Schade, denn das einzigartige und großartige Salzberkwerk hätte mehr WÜRDIGUNG verdient.

The salt mines have to be one of the best visitor attractions anywhere. A great half day spent exploring an underground wonder. One area which could be improved is the communication between us and the tour operator. We had one txt and 3 emails informing us of two different pick up locations and 3 different times. This was both confusing could somewhat stressful wondering if we would make the trip

The meeting point instructions were crystal clear; we were able to find it without any effort. The price for the tour was also reasonable. The tour to the salt mines was wonderful. The tour guide shared interesting historical facts and showed us around. After the tour we also visited the museum which was also included.

De rondleiding was goed georganiseerd, verliep vlot ondanks de grote van groep. Door de audiokastjes met oortje is de gids goed te verstaan. Onze gids vertelde duidelijk en informatief, en leidde de groep bekwaam. Met trappen daal je af tot 64m. en later 110m. ondergronds. Door de mijngangen ga je van kamer tot kamer met elk een eigen thema. In totaal 2,5 kilometer, dus best actief, maar terug omhoog gaat een lift. Er was veel indrukwekkends te zien en alles was goed onderhouden: uit zout gehouwen standbeelden uit verschillende tijden vertellen steeds een stukje geschiedenis; elders vormen originele houten werktuigconstructies en attributen een decor voor manshoge museumpoppen die het mijnwerkersleven uitbeelden. Een immense ondergrondse kapel, rijkelijk gedecoreerd met kunstig beeldhouwwerk uit zoutsteen, vormt een hoogtepunt. Op tal van plekken zijn prachtige vormen van zoutkristallisatie te bewonderen, en enkele ondergrondse meren. Hier en daar wordt met licht- en geluidseffecten gewerkt voor een audiovisuele beleving.

Début mitigé, car notre réservation a été décalée de 3h... par manque de guide français dispo a priori (on ne se plaint pas, car un français s'est vu annuler sa visite à Auschwitz alors que réservation longtemps à l'avance...). Visite intéressante et site impressionnant. Existe une autre visite plus interactive avec simulation d'être mineur (a priori très bien d'après quelqu'un l'ayant fait la veille). Pas de souci avec les marches (env. 900 et que de la descente) et remontée en ascenseur. A faire

En general es un buen tour, caminas mucho por las minas y te van explicando la historia de la mina en el trayecto. Diría que le pongo 4 estrellas nada más porque no se le entendía bien al guía por su acento ( el tour fue en inglés ). Pero todo lo demás bien en general, el templo es lo que más destaca del tour en mi opinión

Una experiencia excelente. La visita a la mina de sal de Wieliczka fue muy interesante y bien organizada. El guía explicó todo de forma clara y amena, y los espacios subterráneos son impresionantes. Sin duda, una excursión muy recomendable desde Cracovia.

What to bring

Comfortable shoes are recommended.

Bring warm clothing as the temperature underground ranges between 14° and 16° C.

What’s not allowed

Luggage or large bags are not allowed inside the mine.

Luggage larger than 30 x 20 x 10 centimeters is not permitted (can be left on the bus if applicable).

Accessibility

Not suitable for wheelchair users or people with mobility impairments.

There are approximately 800 steps to climb, with 350 at the beginning to descend into the mine.

Additional information

The tour is not recommended for anyone with claustrophobia.

Maximum group size is 40 visitors per guide.

The pace and duration of guided tours are determined by visitor service regulations; duration is approximate.

Toilet facilities are spaced along the route at approximately 40 and 90 minutes from the start of the visit.

If your child is less than 150 cm tall, please inform the local partner so a child seat can be arranged.

Your pickup time and/or tour entry time may be adjusted due to venue availability; you will be informed by the activity provider if necessary.

The local partner will contact you by WhatsApp, email, or phone the day before your tour to confirm the final pickup and tour timing; please refer to your final voucher for the confirmed schedule.
