I booked a trip to Auschwitz and Birkenau after official tickets with an English guide were sold out months in advance. The tour included hotel pickup and transport, which worked flawlessly – everything was punctual and smooth. At the museum, there was a shared queue for all time slots, which caused delays, but this seems to be the museum’s system rather than the tour provider’s responsibility. The workaround with a “translator” was actually very effective – our English-speaking guide (Brigitte) was excellent. She was kind, empathetic, and clearly very engaged in the history, which made the experience more meaningful. The visit itself was well organized, and despite large crowds, the guides managed the flow efficiently and avoided unnecessary waiting where possible. It is a fast-paced visit, so don’t expect much time at each spot, but that’s understandable given the number of visitors. One small tip: bring your own food and water, as there is very limited time between stops. Overall, a very well-organized and worthwhile experience.

Die Abholung erfolgte ohne Probleme. Am Treffpunkt geht es etwas chaotisch zu, da von dort viele Touren starten. Die Tour durch Auschwitz-Birkenau war eine sehr eindrucksvolle und bewegende Erfahrung. Unsere Tourguide Marta hat uns mit viel Einfühlungsvermögen und großem Wissen durch die Gedenkstätte geführt. Sie hat die Geschichte nicht nur sachlich erklärt, sondern auch persönliche Schicksale und Hintergründe verständlich und respektvoll vermittelt. Besonders beeindruckend war, wie sie auf Fragen eingegangen ist und komplexe Zusammenhänge klar und nachvollziehbar erklärt hat. Man hat gemerkt, das ihr das Thema sehr am Herzen liegt und sie großen Wert darauf legt, die Erinnerung lebendig zu halten. Die gesamte Organisation der Tour war gut strukturiert, und trotz der emotionalen Schwere des Ortes fühlte man sich jederzeit gut begleitet.

I always wanted to visit Auschwitz, so, when I got the chance to come to Krakow, I immediately booked an organized tour to the concentration camps - Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II - Birkenau. It's a place full of history and grief. The tourist guide we had transformed a simple trip into an immersive experience by sharing passion, local insights, and historical context. Prima di tutto ho apprezzato la serietà della compagnia, un altro tour operator mi aveva annullato la visita dicendo che era chiuso per una commemorazione, cosa non vera. Quindi un grande grazie anche solo per averci permesso di entrare... Autista puntuale, simpatico e disponibile e mezzo molto pulito e confortevole. Il luogo è molto toccante e la guida ha saputo raccontare con gentilezza le cose spiacevoli che succedevano lì, molto importante per il mio gruppo perché viaggiavamo con bambine di 12 anni e molti dicevano che non era consigliabile. Ma Magdalena ha avuta la giusta delicatezza anche per loro. Consigliatissimo
