Museums in Vienna

Wir waren mit unseren 4-jährigen Enkerln dort und Hauptattraktion war natürlich das große Skelett vom Langhals Dino......aber auch die anderen ausgestopften Tiere wurden bestaunt Ich persönlich muss demnächst wieder ins Museum zurück um in Ruhe die riesige extrem tolle Mineralien Ausstellung zu besichtigen!

Getting the tickets online was very easy, although I recommend going to the ticket office in front of the Museum because they have a student discount. The entry was smooth, you are free to explore the museum as long as you want - they have MANY interesting things and interactive exibitions, it's really worth seeing!

Not expensive, beautiful views, felt very traditional in the old tram carriage. Would recommend as part of a Vienna trip with kids or families

Den Pferden und den BereiterInnen bei ihrer Arbeit zuzusehen war wunderbar. Es war eine traumhafte Vorstellung und ich werde diese weiter empfehlen.

Super hilfsbereites Team, sehr schöne Atmosphäre. Für die "Holzklasse" Stühle 2. Rang wären Kissen zum ausleihen eine gute Ergänzung. Acho que a expectativa foi maior do que a realidade. Nosso guia conhecia muito e explicava muito bem, mas o conteúdo do museu não nos agradou. Quanto ao serviço e o guia, foram pontuais e muito prestativo.

My visit to the Upper Belvedere in Vienna was a surprise gift for our 20th anniversary—and it turned out to be absolutely perfect. I expected a nice museum visit, but I didn’t realize how many treasures were waiting inside. Admiring original works by Gustav Klimt in such a beautiful, historic setting was unforgettable. The collection also includes masterpieces by artists like van Gogh, Monet, and Munch, making it a truly rich experience. The most striking moment for me was a painting of a woman in a black dress—the textures of the fabric and jewelry felt almost three-dimensional, as if they were coming out of the canvas. Beyond the art itself, the whole experience—from the atmosphere of the palace to a classic Viennese coffee and strudel afterward—made this visit deeply emotional and memorable. recommended, especially if you appreciate art and want something truly special in Vienna. The palace is beautiful, the buiding itself is just fabulous, the gardens are stunning and Klimt is my fauvorite painter.
