Visiting the Belvedere Palace was one of the highlights of our trip to Vienna. The palace is absolutely beautiful, with impressive Baroque architecture and stunning gardens between the Upper and Lower Belvedere. The ticket booking through Headout was smooth and convenient, with no waiting time at the entrance. Highly recommended for families and anyone visiting Vienna for the first time.

Impressionistische Bilder der bekannten Maler sind immer interessant. Umso mehr, wenn sie aus einer privaten Sammlung stammen, hier Villa Langmatt. Die Auswahl der Bilder war exzellent. Ein Blick in die Geschichte der Familie Brown (und Sulzer) rundete das Angebot ab. Danach die Ausstellung Franz-Xaver Messerschmidts "Mehr als Charakterköpfe" war mehr als nur Zugabe. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Excellent value for money. Both locations and the gardens are a delight and worth visiting. Headout provide a seamless booking process. I've never had any issues with any tickets purchased.

Enter through the main gates of the Lower Belvedere Palace. Your ticket grants direct access—just present it at the entrance to begin your visit.

What to expect

The Lower Belvedere is part of a UNESCO-listed palace complex that showcases one of the world's finest Baroque architectural ensembles. Once Prince Eugene of Savoy’s residence, the palace today is a celebration of art, history, and ornate design.

The Hall of Grotesques: See whimsical grotesque paintings on ceilings and walls, preserved in their original 18th-century form.

Suitcases and large bags are not allowed in the museum and cannot be left in the cloakroom.

Additional Information

The BIP garage at Palais Schwarzenberg and the BIP garage at Schwarzenbergplatz offer discounted parking for a time window of 6 hours.

When you validate your parking ticket at the ticket offices of the Lower or Upper Belvedere (see opening times), you can park for up to 6 hours for € 6 in one of the two garages that are open all day (midnight).

Note: With your time slot ticket you book a fixed access time to the museum. The duration of your stay is unlimited.

Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the redemption point. Students must show a valid student ID.
