Vienna is a city where you must have access to public transport, so having it all prepaid with the Vienna City Card means you can hop onto any train, bus or tram and only need to think about where it is going. The discounts are helpful too, but even better is being able to book through the Headout app, meaning all your bookings and entry passes are in one place. Definitely worth the money.

Das Ticket für den Bahn- und Busverkehr ist prima und zusammen mit den Ermäßigungen für die Sehenswürdigkeiten lohnt es sich. Allerdings sollte man überlegen, dass man sich schon viele Sehenswürdigkeiten anschauen muss damit es sich lohnt.Wien bietet auch günstige Wochentickets für den Bagn und Busverkehr an.Also genau durchrechnen.

Wir sind alle zugelassenen Verkehrsmittel gefahren. Die Ermäßigungen waren auch o.k. - allerdings bekamen wir die schon auf Grund unseres Alters (keine doppelte Ermäßigung also). Wir nehmen die Vienna City Card bei unserem nächsten Wien-Besuch wieder.

Wir haben die viennacitycard für 7 Tage gebucht. Das Nahverkehrssystem ist super. Man kommt überall hin, die Taktung ist sehr eng bis spät am Abend und man hat keinen Stress mit Verspätungen. Die ermäßigten Eintrittspreise für viele musst-sees sind auch klasse und bringen echte Ersparnis. Ein besonderes Erlebnis war die Lichtshow in der Votivkirche. Farb- und tongewaltig und genau auf die Architektur abgestimmt.

Bin erst einen Tag in Wien. Es ist ein wunderbares Gefühl, man braucht sich nicht kümmern um einen Fahrschein, man kann Kreuz und quer fahren ohne nachzudenken und sich um den Fahrschein zu kümmern ! Sehr angenehm. Löse ich mir wieder, da ich öfters nach Wien komme. Bin Wienerin, lebe aber im Gasteinertal und ich besuche öfters hier meine Familie. Aber mein Herz wird immer in Wien bleiben. Ilse
