Belvedere Palace was one of the highlights of my visit to Vienna. The palace itself is stunning, with beautiful Baroque architecture and well-maintained gardens that are perfect for a relaxing walk. The atmosphere feels elegant and historical, offering visitors a glimpse into Austria’s imperial past. One of the most impressive parts of the visit was the art collection inside, especially Gustav Klimt’s famous painting “The Kiss,” which attracts visitors from all over the world. The gardens connecting the Upper and Lower Belvedere are beautifully designed, providing excellent views and great opportunities for photography. The palace grounds are clean, organized, and easy to explore. I also appreciated the informative exhibitions that helped me better understand Austrian history and culture. Hat super geklappt. Kein anstehen an der Kasse. Man konnte gleich durchgehen. Wir waren schon am Morgen da, da ist natürlich weniger los, aber umso mehr konnte man das Riesenrad für sich alleine genießen. Man musste nur das Handy mit dem Code beim reingehen unterhalten und dann war man schon drin. Das Riesenrad ist ein Wahrzeichen von vielen und sollte besucht werden. Mit headout hat es super geklappt

It was amazing to see The Kiss! It was definitely a dream, and I loved that it wasn't too crowded, we got to take cute photos in front of it (I was scared it would be packed with people and we would hardly be even to come close)

very enjoyable and interesting art gallery ; not too crowded when we vsisyted so a good view of all the key paintings we wanted to see (especially the Bruegel and Klimt).

Upper Belvedere Palace

Facilities: Wheelchair Accessibility, Guide Dog Accommodation & Cloakroom.

With this ticket, skip the line to the ticket counter/box office and head straight to the museum entrance!

Rental fees: Permanent collection tour €5.00, Austrian sign language multimedia guide permanent collection € 2.00.

For reasons of hygiene, please use personal headphones (standard 3.5 mm connection). As an alternative, disposable headphones are provided.

The parking lot for people with disabilities is located right next to the entrance gate of the Upper Belvedere, Prinz Eugen-Straße 27.

Note: With your time slot ticket you book a fixed access time to the museum. The duration of your stay is unlimited.

The Upper Belvedere's north and west facades are set to undergo renovations from April 2024. Scaffolding will be disguised with a net replicating the facade. The entrance and access to the venue will remain unaffected.

Guide dogs are allowed.

Suitable access to all exhibition rooms and to the restaurant.

All special wagons of the Ferris Wheel are suitable for extra-wide wheelchairs and have ramps.
