Great value combo ticket for the art and natural History museum which are directly opposite each other in the museum quarter. Really enjoyed both museums. Must stop by the cafe in the art museum for coffee and cake (try the apple strudel and cream). You'll be hard pushed to find a more beautiful setting anywhere in Vienna. So much to see in both museums so allow yourself a good 2-3 hours per museum. Enjoy.

From the moment you step inside, it takes your breathe away. This is the coolest museum I've seen, and it's upkeep is extraordinary! The landscaping out front is stunning, and not one spec of dust can be seen inside. The price is great, it is absolutely worth a visit!

The museum is a magnificent building, with an extraordinary collection of paintings and works of art. You need at least half a day to fully appreciate everything in it. The museum's café was exquisite, with a charming atmosphere and beautiful décor.

Getting started

The museum is located on Maria-Theresien-Platz, with the main entrance at the front of the building, facing the square, with clear signs to guide you inside. If you've selected the guided tour option, meet your English-speaking guide at the entrance at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time. Your guide will give a brief orientation and ensure that you're ready to bypass the queues with skip-the-line access, so you can head straight into the museum.

A world of imperial treasures & Habsburg heritage

Wander through the grand halls of the Kunsthistorisches Museum, home to celebrated Renaissance and Baroque works by Caravaggio, Titian, and Velázquez. Marvel at their stunning array of royal artifacts that showcase the wealth and power of the Habsburg dynasty. Admire beautifully crafted goldsmith work, regal jewelry, and other opulent pieces that once belonged to emperors and empresses.

The museum also boasts a renowned Egyptian collection, where mummies, sarcophagi, and sacred objects reveal the rituals, beliefs, and artistic legacy of ancient Egypt.
